I received a warm welcome on my arrival. Stayed here while I was on a dog grooming training course in Evercreech. Everything I needed was here. Dobbies and Stonehenge are well worth a visit, and the carnival was colourful.

A warm welcome from Ruth and a fabulous apartment. Everything we needed and a lovely place to come back to. Have seen many sights, all within easy reach, such as Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar. Enjoyed some fantastic Farmhouse cider and met some interesting characters! Enjoyed meals at the Thatch Cottage on the road to Frome and the Bull Terrier at Croscombe which was a lovely, homely pub.
An enjoyable week helped by the lovely apartment.

Had a good day in Wells - what an attractive city with market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Most of out time was spent at New Wine with little time to explore.

Had a truly blessed week, so fortunate to stay here for the 2nd year running rather than camp at the Bath & West Showground. Managed to visit Street on our day off from New Wine. www.new-wine.org.uk. Hope to see you again next year!

We had a very enjoyable week. The Courtyard is so very central and we found most place of interest with in easy reach. We enjoyed our visit to Lacock - National Trust property where there is an historic Abbey with medieval cloisters. Do not miss the picturesque village outside the Abbey. If you are a steam enthusiast, then the East Somerset Railway is not to be missed - check the times before you go.
 And we would highly recommend the ' Whitstone ' Fish and Chips at Charlton Cross roads. We had a pleasant stay at Courtyard which was clean and equipped to a high standard.

As we thought, Shepton mallet - a super base for touring from. For places - Sherbourne, Wells ( Bishop's Palace & Gardens lovely! ), Glastonbury. Bustling seaside town with lovely beach - Burnham on Sea.
If you are looking for a "special" meal we suggest Blostins - 300 yds from here on road to Bristol. (£19 for 3 courses - but very good!)
Flat decorated to a very high standard, and friendly welcome from Ruth.

Loved the area and the Courtyard was ideal for our needs. Slept well all the time we were here. For future guests we can recommend Montacute House ( Elizabethan house near Ilchester) : Cadbury Castle ( stone age hill fort - great views ) near Sherbourne ; Sherbourne itself ( castles ! and abbey ) ; and Stourhead ( wonderful 18thC gardens and scenic surrounding e.g. village of Mere ) . Did not have time for a lot of the "little" things we planned like a drink in the "Dusthole"; fish and chips from the award winning shop ; or a home delivery pizza but they can be for next time.

I had a very good stay here, though I missed my family. This apartment is very beautiful and cleaner than I saw and selected on internet. Especially the kitchen is superb, it has everything in it. I really appreciate Ruth for this. I could not do much sight seeing due to hectic schedule. I would definately come back again with my family to spend some time here.

We have really enjoyed our 2 weeks - the apartment has been ideal for us and we particularly enjoyed being able to sit in the garden. Shepton Mallet is a great base for exploring Somerset. Had a wonderful relaxing time here. The apartment is lovely, very cosy and has absolutely everything you need - your kitchen is better equipped than ours!! Loved the fresh flowers, bowl of fruit and all those extra touches.You have thought of everything. Any cider lovers - a visit to Wilkins Cider Farm is a must - very authentic and a free half pint!! (near Wedmore)

Well ! we as Christians always pray that our accommodation will be OK, well the Lord has exceeded our prayers and we couldn't have asked for anything more lovely. The apartment is very well equipped and quiet. The owners very helpful whenever needed. Off to the Garden Show today ( in the pouring rain ) and hopefully pick up some plants and new ideas.
